Details of Judging

Roger is Kennel Club approved as a Terrier Group Judge and currently approved to award Challenge Certificates in 16 terrier breeds listed below.

Starting judging in 1977 and awarding Challenge Certificates for the first time in 1985, he has judged extensively throughout the UK and abroad.

His undoubted knowledge and experience in terriers built up over almost 40 years have lead to him judge many of the specialities and other prestigious shows:

National Terrier Club, The WHWTC, The Combined WHWTC, Southern WHWTC, Finnish WHWTC, Spanish Terrier Club, German Terrier Club, Danish Terrier Club, Luxembourg Terrier Club, Swedish Terrier Specialty, Munster Terrier Club, the 1^st Hungarian Black & White Show, Neumunster International,in 2006 The WHWTC of England Centenary Show, The World Show 2008, The World Terrier Festival 2010.

In July 2008 he had the great honour to be the very first UK Breed specialist to judge West Highland Whites at The World Show in Stockholm, where he also judged the Smooth Fox Terrier Speciality.

At Open Shows he judges breeds across the groups as well as all Groups and Best in Show - All Breeds.
