Our Dachshunds
Our ‘adventure’ into Dachshunds started when in 2003, a long time friend and Mini Wire-Haired breeder/exhibitor; Jill Nealis, let my daughter; Jaclyn, have a bitch puppy; Charnealis Lourdes (Roxy).
She had good bloodlines and she produced our first litter in this breed; 2 dogs and 2 bitches by Stargang Magic Sword. We kept a dog; Rotella De La Hoya (Oscar), and both bitches Rotella Never An Angel (Dottie) & Sometimes An Angel (Dashie).
All of them did very well as puppies, all qualifying for Crufts at their first show, with De La Hoya finishing the year as No.5 Top Puppy in the breed.
We now have 2nd and 3rd generation puppies from Roxie, Dottie and Dashie, sired by Magic Sword, Ch Stargang Pick Pocket, Ch Stargang Mickey Finn, Foxearth Fools Parsley and Jap & GB Ch Drakesleat Jest Dis Once.
We thoroughly enjoy our Dachshunds, they are a pleasure to live with and we look forward to the future with our young hopefuls.
